ARIN

ARIN, the American Registry for Internet Numbers, is a regional Internet registry responsible for the allocation and management of Internet number resources in the United States, Canada, and many Caribbean and North Atlantic islands. 

It was established in December 1997 as a nonprofit corporation and is one of the five regional Internet registries in the world. ARIN manages the distribution of Internet number resources, including IPv4 and IPv6 address space and AS numbers. 

It provides services related to the technical coordination and management of Internet number resources, facilitates policy development by its members and stakeholders, participates in the international Internet community, and is governed by an executive board elected by its membership.
